New Year, New Video, New Formats

We are so happy to present our new promo video 2018. Check it out at:

We have just launched our new big band formats: 7 piece with a sax player and 8 piece with sax and percussion. Our main aim with this video is give our couples or clients a true representation of what the band can do. What you are hearing is 100% live, no overdubs, no tricks, no backing tracks, little mistakes here and there... This is Soul Lotta Funk doing our thing in a real gig.
There are a lot of people to thank:
Nicky Lyons - yep, our singer Nick put a lot of work mixing the audio for the video. He has done an amazing job.
Tom Smith - from Together Wedding Films (www.togetherweddingfilms.com) Tom is incredible to work with. He pays so much attention to detail and if he gets involved in your project he does it for real. Everything we have asked him for he has done it, great working ethic and great guy! Also huge thanks to his pal John for coming to film to Porters with Tom.
Rob Hearne - he sound engineered our gig. Without him we couldn't have had the quality of recording needed to release this video. Thank you very much Rob! You did a great job.
Porter's Cardiff - because it's the home of our showcases and everytime we play there we have the place bouncing. Thanks for letting us film!
Rosie and Imran - our saxophonist and percussionist on the night for jumping in the gig and delivering great sounds ;)
